Happy February Ayurveritans :)
I don’t know about you, but January felt like it lasted forever. Maybe because I decided to eat vegan, and it was definitely a challenge…
For example, a couple of weeks ago I ordered coffee in a café. Expecting it to be black, I was surprised to see that my drink automatically came with milk. And there are other things that one wouldn’t normally consider— cream cheese for bagels, cheese on pizza. It’s crazy to think how pervasive dairy is in our everyday lives. This experience taught me the importance of looking forward to a more sustainable future where we use ethical, cruelty-free animal products.
With Veg-anuary officially in the books, Ayurverita will get back to its regularly scheduled programming: free weekly articles on herbs and spices. As a pharmacist, plant medicine is my bread and butter. However, I recently started exploring Ayurveda’s sister science, Yoga. This includes prior series like #PowerofPranayam. My plan going forward is to publish monthly on topics related to Yoga, such as a segment on the #MagicofMeditation. If you are interested in joining me on this journey, please consider subscribing to Ayurverita’s paid subscription program.
In addition, I am offering personalized holistic sessions on a tri-monthly basis. Preventative healthcare will be highly emphasized, primarily through wellness counseling tips.
During our time together, we will first establish your patient profile. This includes details such as allergies, family medical history, pre-existing conditions, and so on. Then, we would determine your food goals as well as tailor meals (vegan or otherwise!) that are not only nutritious and delicious but also in accordance with your doshic proportion.
I will be your Ayurvedic e-pharmacist— as someone who is well-versed in Eastern and Western pharmacopeia, there is no one better to provide integrative insight into connecting with your natural well-being.
Allow me to help you on your path to living a more healthy and empowered life
